I think next time I teach this, I am going to make the kids choose a color scheme. Some of the students got a bit carried away with the paint. Overall, I am happy with the results!
Hi There.... Love this... my high school students are doing something similar. We found that the yellow house grade Styrofoam works amazing as sculpting material. We are able to use metal files and sandpaper to smooth out the edges and form patterns etc.
